Isolated Severe Storms Possible from Southeast Texas Through Central Mississippi Tomorrow – Gulf Coast Storm Center

Isolated severe storms will be possible across far Southeast Texas, Southwest, Central, and Northeast Louisiana, and areas of Southwest and Central Mississippi along and ahead of a cold front tomorrow afternoon into tomorrow night.

Overall, the severe threat is low (“marginal”).

The main concern with any storms that become severe will be hail and strong wind gusts. The tornado threat is minimal. A brief spin up or two can’t be ruled out, though.

This upcoming weekend: Looking out about 7 – 8 days from now, it appears there could be a more substantial threat for severe weather for much of the region. However, it is too early for specifics, and the threat might not materialize.
