Potential for a Few Severe Storms Tonight – Gulf Coast Storm Center

There will continue to be a low-end (“marginal”) risk for a few isolated severe storms across far Southeast Texas, South Louisiana and Mississippi, and Southwest Alabama and the extreme Western Florida Panhandle through early tomorrow morning along and ahead of a stalled front.

HRRR simulated radar loop through 11:00 AM CST tomorrow morning, showing the progression of storms from west to east.

Storms currently ongoing across Southeast Texas and portions of Louisiana will shift east. Some additional storms could also develop.

Damaging winds will be the main threat with any severe storms tonight/early tomorrow morning. Though, an isolated tornado or two will be possible.
