Christmas Day Forecast: Cool, Dry Conditions to Prevail – Gulf Coast Storm Center

An arctic cold front is going to slide east tomorrow, and a cold, dry air-mass will settle in  behind it. This will result in cool and dry conditions prevailing Christmas Day.

Temperatures during the morning hours will range from the mid to upper 20s to lower 30s across Northeast Texas, North Louisiana, and North-Central Mississippi and Alabama; and the mid to lower 30s and lower 40s across South Texas,  South and Central Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle.

Highs will only top out in the low to mid 40s across North Mississippi and North Alabama, and the upper 40 to upper 50s elsewhere (with the exception of extreme South Texas, where lower to mid 60s are likely).

As stated above, the air-mass moving in will be dry. Thus, there will be no rainfall.
